The first post of my thread up there is me pointing out that 200% of my population were civil servants. Taking over other countries also absolutely screws up the graphs. Also amusing: civilian aircraft to invaded countries sometimes just stop midair after the destination has been annexed. I stopped playing when I realized that I could take over the US and they wouldn't even fire a shot to protect themselves.

The wartime AI for participating nations stops working. UN intervention is highly damaging, surviving it makes you the most powerful beast on the planet. This bug existed in Rulers of Nations (Geopolitical Simulator 2) and when asked, they insist it has been fixed even though people were still suffering from it. This also means no maintenance on old housing, either, forcing national housing to become dilapidated and upsetting everyone. Assigning it via the national controls instead of by state would not replenish the manpower after their use leading to eventually having too little to do any construction. You have a pool of manpower to perform construction tasks, whether it be infrastructure, housing, etc.

They were the ones who explained to me how not to be overthrown (pumping up the military budget to placate them). Eversim apparently sees no problem in this. Overthrowing and executing an elected leader 8 days after he takes office over concerns for the future of the country's democracy is ridiculous. This is despite the communists being the second largest party in Russia and despite the whole point of the beginning being that you were just elected. Otherwise you will be deposed by the military in ~7-8 days over concerns of whether or not you threaten the country's democracy. If you play the communist party in Russia, you must vastly increase the military budget. Sub-Saharan Africa had an education problem: they would lose college graduates/year each year until 0 despite having colleges. As of the last time I played (months ago). At one point, having around 70% of global GDP. And don't ever use nukes!ДЄlso, China becomes the final boss on a long enough timeline. It really does mean that you have to keep a good stand on the international politics even while you have to keep in good with your own people for reelection. Warfare means global upset and various nations speaking out against you and ends somewhere around the point where the global community decides on international intervention marked by American peacekeepers.

Trying to take, say, North Korea from a nobody to someone of actual importance can be difficult if not impossible. This makes it incredibly fun to play for anyone who enjoys a good nation simulation. Masters of the World is supposed to be way more realistic than Paradox games as they simulate as much as possible. Here is my thread about my experience conquering the world with North Korea:
